Digital holographic microscopy and CNN based image processing for biohazard detection

A new digital holographic microscope is developed and used to detect and identify microscopic organisms. Our demonstration setup shows the efficiency of this new kind of microscopy and provides insight how CNN can be used as an image processing framework to preprocess the gained data.
