Zusammenfassung: | The main goal of space L-band radiometric system design is the development of radiophysical methods for Earth remote sensing in a promising L-band range of electromagnetic waves for investigation of events and processes in the atmosphere-Earth surface system. For scientific investigations the Russian small satellite will be used. Launch of the satellite is scheduled for 2008. On the threshold of planned space missions with payloads containing L-band radiometers it is very important to have reliable subsatellite measurements with analogous instruments. In IRE and SDB RAS a microwave L-band radiometer polarimeter is under development. Field measurements with a prototype radiometer were performed during the campaign held in Katsiveli (Crimea), August, 2007. |
