Hybrid WDM-TDM Passive Optical Network in burst mode configuration with RSOA

A hybrid PON based on TDM and WDM is demonstrated using RSOA in the optical network unit. The burst mode configuration operates at 1.25 Gbit/s over 50 km fibre link for 1024 customers.
