A Novel Multi-clad Single Mode Optical Fiber for Broadband Optical Networks

In this paper, we present a novel optical fiber design strategy for broadband as well as low dispersion applications. For this purpose the RII-type fibers are considered. In the proposed method the genetic algorithm for optimization is used.
