Observations and modeling of beam-beam effects at the Tevatron collider

This report summarizes recent experience with beam- beam effects at the Tevatron collider. Improvements in the beam lifetime resulting from the implementation of the a helical orbit are analyzed. The effect of second order chromaticity correction is studied.
