Zusammenfassung: | In this paper is described a linear programming model to solve the problem of long term hydrothermal scheduling for large scale power systems. With respect to other models existing in the literature, the proposed model takes into account the characteristics of multi-reservoir basins and the transmission system. To solve the problem, a two steps interior point optimization method is used: in the first, transmission losses are considered null; in the second, the losses are incorporated into the systems' demand through an iterative procedure. The linear model has been applied to solve the hydrothermal scheduling of a configuration of the interconnected peruvian system composed by 33 hydraulic plants, 47 thermal groups, 103 buses and 159 transmission lines. Results of the application show that with the linear model is possible to solve with adequate accuracy the long term hydrothermal scheduling of practical size power systems. |
