Zusammenfassung: | Maximum power saving is achieved if the relay node lies in the middle of source and destination node for HCB (named after who proposed) model In this paper, we show by simulation that the percentage deviation from maximum power saving subject to the actual position of the relay node which is not in the middle most of the time is not significant and hence, we achieve maximum saving on average. Furthermore, we see the effect of sudden demise of cluster heads in the Warning Energy Aware Cluster head (WEAC) protocol based on our previous work. We compare the simulation results of our current work with our earlier work in the simulation section. We find that there is little power loss if the relaying node is not in the middle of source and destination node. However, performance was seriously degraded on the introduction of sudden demise of CH during simulation. |
