Zusammenfassung: | A novel strategy of precalculating potential MIMO spectral efficiencies of correlated channels based on both, measured as well as appropriately modeled SISO channel impulse responses is presented. Besides capacity prediction, the model is capable of comprising the physical nature of the channel in form of its frequency response. The method is applied to indoor MIMO channels where the correlation is introduced mainly by a strong LOS signal component coinciding with low mobility. A spherical wave model is applied and the distributions of angle of arrival and angle of departure turn out to be important modeling parameters. The modeled MIMO capacities are compared to measured capacity records for verification, proving high accuracy. |
