Zusammenfassung:We experimentally demonstrate bandwidth enhancement of an optically-injection-locked integrated electro- absorption modulator (EAM) and laser in an inverted configuration. The injected light is modulated by the EAM and enhanced by the injection locking dynamics. The 3-dB bandwidth of the EAM was increased from 8GHz to >40GHz.
