A 12 mW, 7.5 GHz Bandwidth, Inductor-less CMOS LNA for Low-Power, Low-Cost, Multi-Standard Receivers
A resistive feedback LNA is presented based on a current-reuse transconductance-boosting technique that reduces the power consumption to 12 mW. It has a gain of 21 dB and a noise figure of 2.6 dB at 5 GHz. The LNA achieves an output-IP3 of 12.3 dBm at 5 GHz by reducing loop-gain roll-off and by impr...

Zusammenfassung: | A resistive feedback LNA is presented based on a current-reuse transconductance-boosting technique that reduces the power consumption to 12 mW. It has a gain of 21 dB and a noise figure of 2.6 dB at 5 GHz. The LNA achieves an output-IP3 of 12.3 dBm at 5 GHz by reducing loop-gain roll-off and by improving linearity of individual stages. The active die area of 0.012 mm is the lowest reported for an LNA. |
