Design of Precise Gain GmC-leapfrog Filters
This paper describes the analysis and predistortion of a precise gain GmC-leapfrog filter. A 1.2-V 240-MHz fifth-order continuous-time low-pass GmC-filter is used as a design example. A method of mapping the transconductor losses is presented. Furthermore, it is proposed that the load and source res...

Zusammenfassung: | This paper describes the analysis and predistortion of a precise gain GmC-leapfrog filter. A 1.2-V 240-MHz fifth-order continuous-time low-pass GmC-filter is used as a design example. A method of mapping the transconductor losses is presented. Furthermore, it is proposed that the load and source resistors can be removed from the filter prototype to relax the trade-offs in the design of precise gain filters. In addition, the effects of the Miller-capacitor are studied. An accurate predistortion result can be achieved with the techniques discussed in this paper. |
