Zusammenfassung: | Simulation and design of a 94-GHz TE 82 mode gyrotron traveling wave tube (gyro-TWT) amplifier operating at the second cyclotron harmonic are presented. The interaction circuit consisted of a new type of ceramic loading that provided the required loss for stable operation. Simulation results show that the amplifier can work stably with saturated peak power of 366 kW and a 3-dB bandwidth of 6.4%. |
