Analysis of the Characteristics of Gyro-TWT with Helical Corrugation

The rule of mode coupling and mode competition in helical wave-guide are analyzed according to the coupling wave equations of it. The selection of operating point is discussed. These provide basis for the calculation of beam-wave interaction.
