Zusammenfassung: | Relationship between compatibility and charge formation in polymer blends has been investigated using polycarbonate (PC)/poly(styrene-co-acrylonitrile) (SAN) blends containing poly(/spl epsi/-caprolactone) (PCL) as a compatibilizer. It has been found that the compatibility increases as the PCL content increases. At PCL contents higher than about 20% by weight, PC and PCL are crystallized. It has been proved that the compatibility governs the amount of charge; the more compatible the less charge. However, the amount of charge increases again at higher PCL contents because of the crystallization of PC and PCL.< > |
