Map of Isotaches-Statistical Approach and Meteorological Information Transfer

This report gives a statistical treatment of available wind data from airports in Brazil and provides a map of isotachs for extreme yearly wind velocities. A comparison between the Statistical models of Frèchet and Gumbel is carried out, leading to the adoption of the latter.
