Zusammenfassung: | The ultrasonic waves in air have been applied to sound reproduction for audio applications. Due to nonlinear propagation characteristics of the ultrasonic waves, a directional audible sound can be generated through the emitted ultrasonic waves from the parametric ultrasonic transducer array. A wave ultrasonic airborne transducer was designed and fabricated by curving poly vinylidene fluoride (PVDF) film. A finite element model using ANASYS software was presented to analysis the wave transducer in this paper. It was based on the half thickness simplification by applying the symmetry boundary conditions at the mid-plane in the thickness direction. The validity of the proposed model is confirmed by a comparison of finite element analysis results with the theoretical value and experimental data. It was shown that the results obtained by the three methods were making a good agreement with each other which illustrated that the finite element method using ANASYS software in this paper could be used for the system design, analysis and optimize for the difficulty of theoretically analysis the complex ultrasonic structure |
