Zusammenfassung:Performance characteristics of a blind clustering equalizer in the presence of frequency selective fading and Doppler effects in mobile communications environments is investigated. Performance of the equalizer is evaluated and compared with those of previously-proposed algorithms. Extensive simulation results indicate that this equalizer performs better than other algorithms for various modulation schemes and channel conditions. The results further illustrate that this algorithm converges very quickly thereby making it quite suitable for digital cellular environments where the channel needs to be equalized and updated within short time frames.< >
