Zusammenfassung: | Polarimetric modelling of complex targets made of metal, such as vehicles, buildings and ships, is of significant interest in various types of applications. In the paper, a simplified model consisting of a large number of one-bounce and two-bounce reflectors is analyzed. If no reflector is giving a dominant return, the polarimetric response can be described by a statistical model of low complexity. The polarimetric statistics of the target response is compared with that from a chaff cloud.< > |
