Zusammenfassung: | A number of recent failures involving large forced-oil-cooled power transformers have been attributed to static electrification. The authors present a preliminary model for predicting electrification in a realistic transformer geometry for which experimental data are available to provide a means of calibration. The static model has been shown to give agreement with measurements for a core-form transformer geometry. The preliminary model has demonstrated that the network methodology is viable for examining the effects of static electrification in a realistic transformer structure.< > |
