Zusammenfassung: | Chirp (linear FM) filters are dispersive in nature; that is, the time delay of the filter varies with frequency. This dispersive nature can be exploited to perform dispersive combining of the resolved multipath components. Frequency shiftings are performed on the received multipath signals to compensate for the path delays. The proper values for the frequency shifts are obtained via a multipath tracking loop. The performance of the dispersive Chirp combining system in Yegani-McGillem channel models is evaluated via computer simulation.< > |
