Second response to comments by M.J. Neatrour on Maxwell's equations

Zusammenfassung: | For original papers by Harmuth see ibid., vol.28, no.4, p.250, p.259, p.267 (1986). For Neatrour's article see ibid., vol.29, no.3, p.258 (1987). The authors clarify the use of the Fourier transform for the generalization of particular solutions of partial differential equations. Using causality arguments it is deduced that the Fourier transforms cannot be a physically correct solution for the partial differential equation for the magnitude of the electric field strength even though it may be mathematically correct.< > |
