Zusammenfassung:This paper introduces a novel electromagnetic optimization technique using Taguchi method. To illustrate this technique, a linear antenna array is optimized to realize a null control pattern and a sector beam pattern. It is found that Taguchi method is easy to implement and it converges to the desired patterns quickly. This method is a good candidate for optimizing EM applications
