Zusammenfassung: | Restructurable modeling is a new paradigm in which a negotiating agent goes through a series of problem representations. The paradigm can be applied to problems with an evolving structure. Restructurable modeling is a powerful method of representing and solving, as well as simulating, complex sequential decision problems. The principles of this approach are discussed. The approach itself evolves and is expanded as new complex problems are being considered. Several new elements of restructurable modelling are presented. To provide an overview of all major elements of the approach, concepts are presented that have been discussed elsewhere by G. E. Kersten et al. (1991) and S. Matwin et al. (1989).< > |
