An approach for rotor time-constant adaptation with FOC induction motors drives

This paper studied the asynchronous machine with flux oriented control (FOC) under the effect of the rotor time constant variation. Two adaptation algorithms are applied and compared, then a new approach is proposed in this paper for its adaptation in light load applications
