Improvement of Single-Mode Operating Range in Tunable Extended-Cavity Lasers with Intra-Cavity Dynamic Holography
1.55 μm commercial extended-cavity lasers can be tuned over 100 nm with no mode-hopping, but this requires delicate factory adjustments and high mechanical stability. These constraints can be relaxed by use of an intracavity photorefractive filter.
