Zusammenfassung:Computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) can be made cost effective, even for one-of-a-kind jobs. To do so requires reevaluation of Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) from the point of view of a computer system, rather than a glorified machine shop. Good systematization, useful software and cooperative CNC shop staff can improve the productivity of a typical CNC shop by a factor of five.
