Zusammenfassung:Wireless ad hoc networks are becoming a center of research interest for the last few years due to the promise of being self-configurable networks. Wireless ad hoc networks do not require predefined configuration and do not have fixed infrastructure. Ad hoc on-demand distance-vector (AODV) protocol is a well-known wireless ad hoc protocol that makes its routing decision based on the distance vector. Our newly introduced intelligent wireless ad hoc routing (IWAR) protocol makes its decisions based on the bandwidth, packet delay, error rate, and predicated node locations. This paper reviews the AODV protocol, presents the design of the IWAR protocol, and compares the performance of the two protocols
