Zusammenfassung: | A variable speed induction drive is supplied by the output voltage of a pulse-width-modulation (PWM) based converter. This technique is widely used for speed control of induction motors. This paper introduces a new method for development of PWM. In order to trigger power electronics switches in this PWM method, the required pulses are generated using a direct torque control (DTC) switching table of a virtual permanent magnet synchronous (PMS) motor. The most important advantage of this method is low current distortion in application of drives and inverters. Lower current harmonics can reduce the losses of the motor and consequently improve its efficiency. |
