Zusammenfassung: | Reconfigurable systems have gained popularity in modern space computing in recent years. One of the important keys to the success of an FPGA-based reconfigurable system is the real-time task/process scheduling. In such an environment, processes that miss their respective deadlines are to be avoided or minimized. However, reconfiguration cost is another concern in reconfigurable systems. A fuzzy rule-based approach together with preemption decision models are proposed to deal with the scheduling and reconfiguration problem for an FPGA-based reconfigurable system. Key objectives are to minimize processes missing their deadline while minimizing the reconfiguration cost |
