Zusammenfassung:The growing complexities associated with spectral sharing dictate that more robust spectral sensing techniques are required to permit reliable channel assessment. Expanding upon previous channelized receiver work, this work employs down-conversion and filtering prior to A/D conversion such that practical limitations of A/D conversion are considered. Signal detection results for the down-converting channelized receiver are shown to be consistent with previous results, i.e., the somewhat "featureless" spectral characteristics of UWB signals dictate that temporal-based processing techniques yield best detection results relative to spectral-based techniques
