Zusammenfassung: | The centralized ad-hoc network architecture is an enhancement to the HIPERLAN/2 standard that uses additional bandwidth at 60 GHz to improve performance. From the network security point of view, the new architecture introduces several additional issues that have to be addressed in order to achieve node authentication, data integrity, confidentiality and immunity to data link layer protocol attacks. In this paper, we identify these issues and propose ways of resolving them, building on the existing security mechanisms of the HIPERLAN/2 standard. |
