Zusammenfassung: | This paper is concerned with the transmission line of a large scale integration (LSI) package operating at gigahertz frequencies. The size of the package containing the LSI is approximately 200 mm/sup 2/. The elements of a 4/spl times/4 scattering matrix, including both amplitude and phase, have been measured up to 20 GHz. Subsequently, the equivalent circuit parameters of a broadband 4-port ladder-type GCRL equivalent circuit model have been obtained by a frequency-dependent S-parameter fitting method. The computed and measured S-parameters are in agreement except for some details arising from local resonances. |
