Zusammenfassung:To make the best use of network resources across a QoS guaranteed multicast network, it is urgent to add a traffic engineering mechanism to the existing QoS multicast routing protocols. We propose a new approach of integrating QoS multicast routing with TE-oriented admission control to offer a traffic engineering function. Moreover, a TE-oriented admission control algorithm, namely dynamic bandwidth allocation with adaptive constraint (DBA-AC), is suggested to make the best use of resources across the entire multicast network by distributing traffic over different paths. Because this admission control algorithm is nonlinear and unsolvable by an analytical approach, we employ OPNET simulation to study its performance.
