Zusammenfassung:The well-known performance equations for the constant velocity MHD Faraday generator employing a fluid of constant conductivity are rewritten in terms of a general performance parameter Q. These equations are plotted for various constant values of Q in such a way as to make the resulting plot a general performance chart. From this chart general optimal operating conditions are deduced.
