Zusammenfassung:The aim of this paper is to provide the reader with a comparison base between several methods of modelling and diagnosis of faulted induction machine. In the case of high precision modelling, the paper presents several methods used to simulate the faulted induction machine such as: the extended Park model, the analytical three-phase model, the coupled magnetic circuit model, the reluctance network method and the finite elements method. Also, some compact modelling approaches are described such as the electrical and thermal behavior models used for the parameter estimation diagnosis method, and the pattern recognition approach. These different modelling and diagnosis methods are tested in the case of the broken rotor bars fault.
