Zusammenfassung: | We investigate the problem of clutter covariance estimation from multichannel radar data with non-specific waveforms. This differs from other similar algorithms in that they are typically tailored for a specific transmitted waveform, in most cases an LFM chirp. We also consider the possibility that there is interference, within the data, caused by a spatially localized source that is independent of the transmitted signal. We frame the problem of estimating the space-time covariance matrices of both the clutter and interference separately as one of maximum-likelihood estimation, and obtain a solution via the expectation-maximization algorithm. Results with simulated data are presented. |
