Zusammenfassung:This study developed a new computer aided method in geometry optimization of electro- or acoustooptical interaction based on spatial anisotropy complete 3D-analysis of electro- or acoustooptical effect in crystal materials. This method allows substantially improving an efficiency of such modulators and has been used by us for geometry optimization of acoustooptical interaction in /spl beta/-BaB/sub 2/O/sub 4/ crystals, which are a promising acoustooptical material.
