Quadratic electro-optic effect in a novel nano-optical polymer (iodine-doped polyisoprene)

Quadratic electro-optic effect in a novel nano-optical polymer (iodine-doped polyisoprene) has been measured. The magnitude of the Kerr coefficient is large, about 66 times that of nitrobenzene at 632 nm.
