If a set of base stations (BS's) can be deployed with minimal service and planning, the cost of both deploying and maintaining the network will decrease. This work presents a decentralized algorithm for BS's to determine their frequency assignments by listening to key information from other BS's. The synchronization information is sent via a low-power spread-spectrum signal. |
