Zusammenfassung:The eigenvalue of an asymmetric ridged waveguide is solved by operator theory and the propagation characteristics are analyzed. The dyadic Green's function in operator theory can be simplified to the scalar Green's function by the vector identical transform. There is no spurious mode in the solution. The method may also be used to calculate the characteristics of a resonant cavity with complex structure.
