Energetic proton generation by ultrashort laser and the dependence on laser intensity and pulse duration

This paper investigates proton generation by ultrashort pulses. This study reports the dependence on laser intensity and pulse duration for energetic proton acceleration caused by irradiation of ultrashort laser pulse of 55-395 fs on a 5 /spl mu/m thickness copper tape target.
