The uniform and consistent data structure of Petri nets allow their application for modeling, simulation, control, and diagnosis. An important condition is the combination of transitions with a time component. The capability of a neutral structure of Petri nets as well as a comfortable graphical interactive user surface make tools developed within the project suitable for a large number of applications in manufacturing.< > |
