Zusammenfassung: | In this paper, FeNdB nanoparticles were synthesized through the chemical reduction of aqueous metal salt solutions. X-ray diffraction scans performed on a Rikagu Rotaflex Ru-200B diffractometer revealed that the product powders are amorphous. A Leica 360 field emission scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis indicated that average particle sizes for these amorphous powders were around 100 nm. Room temperature magnetic measurements on a Lake Shore Model 735 vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) showed that as produced amorphous powders were ferromagnetic with an average saturation magnetization of 30 emu/g and a coercivity of 20 Oe. |
