A fast and efficient finite-element solver for 2D and 3D photonic band-gap problems
Bloch-modes in 2D and 3D photonic crystals are calculated with fast and efficient finite-element codes. We present a detailed convergence-analysis of obtained solutions using multigrid algorithms and finite elements of higher orders.
