Zusammenfassung:Mechanical and electrophysical property studies of plasma-sprayed ceramic insulation coverings at low temperatures and under gamma -n irradiation were performed. The results of the studies confirm the possibility of using such coverings as electrical insulation and as a monolithic material for the superconducting electromagnetic system of a fusion reactor. The technology of manufacturing a monolithic superconducting magnetic system based on intermetallic compounds by the technique of winding-annealing, with the use of plasma-sprayed ceramic coverings, was developed. A frame-free superconducting solenoid based on niobium-tin, 130 mm in inner diameter and 200 mm in outer diameter, and including light ordinary pancakes wound with unannealed flattened wire conductor of 4.7-1.2 mm in diameter, was manufactured and tested. The results of testing a ceramic solenoid in the external field of a niobium-titanium magnet are given.< >
