Invariant descriptor of Fourier-Mellin for indexing by contents a database of three dimensional images

We purpose to extend the properties of 2D Fourier-Mellin invariant descriptors to 3D imagery, in order to carry out the indexation by contents of image fragments and to facilitate their automatic tracking in large databases.
