Parallel theoretical concepts in engineering and the social sciences, pressures from industry, and changes within the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)frame the argument for system dynamics as a "non-technical" education requirement. Some of the distinct benefits of utilizing the basic thinking tools of system dynamics for the future engineer are discussed. |
