Zusammenfassung: | This paper examines the international arrangements and agreements for cooperative management of air-traffic systems and radio frequency assignments. It delineates and explains the roles of international organizations, both governmental and nongovernmental, which have an influence on the management of air traffic systems. It expands on the organization of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and gives examples of the manner in which international agreement has been reached on some of the systems used by civil aviation. It also outlines the steps involved in the international standardization of new systems. |
