Zusammenfassung:Technological developments encourage organizations to make strategic changes to adapt to current trends. ERP is a technology implemented by many organizations. However, the high costs of implementing proprietary ERP make organizations look for alternatives to reduce costs using open-source ERP (OS-ERP). To reduce the risk of failure, organizational development needs to pay attention to ERP success factors. Based on previous research, the most dominant success factors in ERP include organizational and managerial. The active role of top management and company policies can influence users to use ERP actively. This research aims to identify success factors in ERP implementation from a leadership and institutional perspective. Two case studies are conducted on textile manufacturing companies implementing OS-ERP in their organizations. Data is collected via interviews with stakeholders directly involved in developing or implementing the open-source ERP system. The analysis found that the influence of institutions and leadership can encourage the success of ERP implementation. Users are encouraged to immediately make a transition from either the manual system or the current system to the new system with Odoo. Due to policies, users must follow all the rules within the organization. Implementation success is demonstrated by ease of user adaptation, level of adoption and user satisfaction with the system.
