Zusammenfassung: | The next decade holds great promise for Optical Camera Communications (OCC) and its Screen-to-Camera (S2C) application. On the one hand, the screen market has experienced rapid growth in recent years, whereas the digital camera market has reached levels of market penetration unrivaled by other electronic devices. This letter proposes an S2C scheme based on the PARAFAC decomposition that enables the joint realization of three important tasks: the estimation of an S2C frame's image degradation, symbol detection, and image restoration of the encoded video. Computer simulations show that using a developed semiblind receiver, these three steps, which are usually performed separately, are possible. The proposed contributions are supported by a practical experiment using a laptop screen and a smartphone camera. Finally, the letter derives the proposed system's identifiability and uniqueness conditions. |
